Chris
Christine Bevacqua, PT
Owner, Physical Therapist

Chris received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in 1994. Chris has worked for over 25 years in physical therapy with a variety of experience ranging from acute care inpatient hospital settings to out patient neurologic and orthopedic facilities. She also has experience running stroke support groups, prosthetic clinics, and senior education programs. Chris has also been teaching at Brookdale Community College for over 8 years where she enjoys the opportunity to train future physical therapy aides/techs.

Chris has experience in treating a variety of orthopedic diagnoses including but not limited to post-surgical joint replacements and repairs, traumatic injuries, various spinal issues, all of which utilize her vast knowledge of manual techniques. She has a special interest in the treatment of vestibular disorders including BPPV and concussion management.

Chris takes a comprehensive approach to patient care treating the whole patient and not just the diagnosis. Out of the many conditions she treats, Chris loves the unique and challenging ones the most.

Lisa
Lisa Sullivan, MPT
Physical Therapist

Lisa received her Master of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University in 1994. She has over 25 years of experience as a therapist. Lisa spent many years enhancing her skills while treating a diverse population at Hackensack- Meridian’s JFK Rehabilitation and a local sports medicine clinic. Lisa has also served as a guest lecturer on various topics at Rutgers and Columbia University.

Lisa specializes in the treatment of orthopedic injuries of the spine, hip, knee, and ankle as well as shoulder problems. Lisa also has a special interest in the treatment of neurological conditions. She has advanced training in the treatment of vestibular dysfunctions and balance disorders including BPPV, central nervous system dysfunctions, and concussion management.

Lisa is known for her variety of manual therapy skills and her comprehensive treatment approach. She is extremely effective at supporting the patient’s transition from injury to wellness.

Dean Thompson
Dean Thompson, PT, DPT, OCS
Physical Therapist

Dean became serious about pursuing physical therapy as a profession because he aligned with its sustainable approach to healthcare and using movement as a tool to improve people’s quality of life. He was educated at The College of New Jersey, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology and minor in Spanish. He went on to Rutgers University School of Health Professions, where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018.

Dean has practiced as a Physical Therapist for 6 years. He has held positions including Staff Physical Therapist, Assistant Clinical Director, and Clinical Director with previous employers. He enjoys a team approach and has experience working collaboratively with Chiropractors and Occupational Therapists.

In 2023, Dean became a Board-certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) after completing the NxtGen Institute Residency program. He has taken several orthopedic-based continuing education courses throughout his career, such as Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) Level 1 Certification and Direct Access Certification (DAC).

Dean specializes in outpatient orthopedics and believes that great treatment starts with a thorough evaluation and examination. He uses the information gathered to determine a patient-specific treatment plan that respects the patient’s current level of irritability and functioning while also representing their personal goals.

Outside of work, Dean loves spending time with his wife, two sons, and dog. He stays active by surfing, skiing, playing paddle tennis, and exercising.
